Sports exhaust is closed in Comfort so because the car is so well insulated you can't really hear it at all. H.U.D. is a revelation as well! How did I live without it!

Congrats, it's a great car and looks well specced too!

Then COD works in dynamic mode too. But as you have to be barely touching the throttle for it to activate I have never noticed any change in sound.

I don't know how you managed those mpg figures though. On a normal run I get 18 if I'm lucky. 22 on a motorway run.

How are you finding the noise? Is it a little too quiet?

I might go for a primary silencer delete to free up some more noise at some stage, not sure about taking the resonators out at the same time though....

It's only 10 cms wider, it's the near 2 foot extra length that would scupper any move to one and fitting it in your garage

.

But that's 4-inches, Graeme; and if you could see what they've done to me post my recent radical prostatectomy   :o  then you'd appreciate the 4-inch difference (they don't tell you before the operation so beware).

You will enjoy that RS7 and good for you; were I a daily driver I'd be looking at a similar replacement.

You played around with all the DIS options yet? The best one I find is the lap timer one, not because of the lap timer function (never used it), but because it has the oil temperature and boost gauge which are essential when warming it up. It also displays the digital speed which is useful but bang the gear lever to the left and you get the shift lights/ bar too. The whole bar flashes manically red as you approach the red line.

Looks awesome!

Have you tried parking at the supermarket and looking how much they hang out of the spaces yet? They're as big as a Range Rover sport but you don't realise.

I'm sure you'll have a great deal of fun with that car, really tempted by one myself.

Be interesting to see how you find it :)
