Hello Mush,
It is bloody big I give you that , But after 2 and a half years of driving round like me pants are on fire I decided I have had enough, not to mention all the aggro with it being at Audi being fixed than on the bloody road.
The S7,
is going to take a bit of getting used to as well as all the bloody gadgets it has on it that I will never find out how to use.
The best ones so far are the Head up display for all sorts of things ,,,speed, satnav, adaptive cruise and the presense thingy
the adaptive cruise is something of a wonder how it works, bloody clever no need touch the pedals at all on any sort of long trip.
Mood lighting in the cabin as well as a strip of light that comes from each door, looks so classy in the dark.
Plenty of power on tap too, and on a motorway its only doing just above 2000 revs at 80 mph and is only using 4 of the 8 cylinders
so far have gotten over 30 mpg !
Will put some pics up when I have some taken
Glad you are pleased with it Mate - at least you have your other car for sporty blasts around !!
I have the adaptive cruise control in the Golf and it does take a bit of getting used to but its great in average speed roadworks like on the M3. I try not to get too used to the adaptive bit though as I have cruise in the MINI and would not want to forget which car i was in
It was really hard not to touch the brakes when coming up to a stationary queue of traffic !!

I agree Colin......
I tried it in our Golf GTD, Does take some getting used too, especially when the car is braking down to a full stop
I've yet to try the park assist

Only thing that puts me off the adaptive cruise it the placement of the sensors.
For me they spoil the front aesthetics on most cars they are fitted too, often only on one side too which really annoys my ocd too.

On the S7 they look like black foglights. They are positioned in the place you'd normally find the fogs, are round and are symmetrical so don't spoil the look, but I think the new Alfa looks like it has a rectangular one on one side only does look a little odd.

I tried to park assist once but took too long so never used it again. Maybe I need to try it a few more times to get used to it.
And yes, it is a bit unnerving when the car in front starts slowing down and my foot wants to start braking.
