I've asked her twice now, i was plannning on attending ADI anyway. The second time I asked (yesterday) she asked what date it was so I think she may be warming up to it. The early start wasn't so appealing for her but the 45 or so RS3 will be an amazing sight. So to answer your question I am hoping to be there but can't confirm yet. Would need someone to stay overnight to be with the kids when we leave early in the morning too.

Only just caught up with this thread today as been a bit pre-occupied with my latest project http://www.audirs3oc...winter-project/.
And another forum stalwart / joker leaves the fold - and buys a car more acceptable for the golf club crowd !!
Just joking mush - not to my taste as its too fecking big but can admire it and it's individuality of design and its damn better looking than the BMW 5 GT thing that I guess it competes with ?
Pretty soon the number of "ex" owners here will be more than actual owners
BMW M2 in Mineral Grey
Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TDi Black Edition
Used to have a Condor Grey RS3 8P, and before that a further 47 assorted money pits

Hello Mush,
It is bloody big I give you that , But after 2 and a half years of driving round like me pants are on fire I decided I have had enough, not to mention all the aggro with it being at Audi being fixed than on the bloody road.
The S7,
is going to take a bit of getting used to as well as all the bloody gadgets it has on it that I will never find out how to use.
The best ones so far are the Head up display for all sorts of things ,,,speed, satnav, adaptive cruise and the presense thingy
the adaptive cruise is something of a wonder how it works, bloody clever no need touch the pedals at all on any sort of long trip.
Mood lighting in the cabin as well as a strip of light that comes from each door, looks so classy in the dark.
Plenty of power on tap too, and on a motorway its only doing just above 2000 revs at 80 mph and is only using 4 of the 8 cylinders
so far have gotten over 30 mpg !
Will put some pics up when I have some taken

Wowsers! One of the things that stops me considering the bigger Audis is fuel economy (I like to use my car every day and travel quite a bit) but that is almost as good as the RS3!

The 4.0tfsi has cylinder on demand so when you are poolting along, 4 cylinders shut down and it runs a lean 2.0 litre 4 cylinder car (well sort of).

Superb engine and car.
The tank on the Q7 im using at the moment was full when i picked it up and showed a 700 mile range
