Ah yes. I think I'm going to do that first! Are they easy to fit? Will the car throw her knickers at me in disgust for removing the secondary cats... Lighting the dash up and all sorts?
Nope no lights or faults, just pure popping pleasure

I'm also planning on doing this when my car arrives next month. Keep me posted on your progress. I'm a relative noob with these things

And I don't think its expensive. About 2400 for a turbo back system with sports cats? That aint bad when you compare it to RS4 (cat back) and RS6 prices.
While i do agree its not a massive cost compared to them, look at the Focus RS cost of £750 for a catback, the system is similar design (large rear box) The only reason i was thinking of going Milltek was to get the sports exhaust noise cheaper than Audi want me to pay for a system, when actually its cheaper to go the sports exhaust. Being fussy now aren't i.... lol maybe i should have held off for a car WITH sports exhaust.
Maybe i'll just be a cheapskate and get the secondary cat bypass until a sports exhaust comes up. (Yep wifey wont let me spend £1500 on an exhaust when we are trying to get the extension approved)

I'll be honest after watching the video I cant tell the difference between sports and milltek. The sports is loud enough, I'd only get the milltek if it turns the volume up noticeably more!
Billy what is the difference in sound with the secondary cats removed? I did this on my 8P and loved it with a milltek. But I just feel for a stock car the sports exhaust sounds pretty awesome

In one word, AWESOME! It's noticeably louder and pops and bangs are much loud too which is what one needs in life! In comfort mode you can hardly hear anything..don't see why anyone would put it in comfort mode as dynamic is pure awesomenessnessness

Think you lose the option of valves in the exhaust so comfort/dynamic won't affect the noise
