Those look like Avantgarde wheels, which are a Taiwan cheap wheel

You can get the same design in HRE flow forms which aren't all that expensive

They are good quality -

Really need to see them in the flesh and get a feel for the ride to make a decision though.

I don't know about rocking 20" wheels on this car.  I think it's a bit too much when you weigh up performance/handling/ride quality vs. the wheel size trade off.

There are a number of members here, including myself, that gave been in QST's RS3 running 20's and H&R springs and it doesn't feel (as much as makes no difference) to stock as far as I could tell. 20's look good on the car imo.

Anyone know who owns this car - posted on Raywell designs social media feed yesterday.
20x9's on standard suspension.

Looks too much tyre stretch for my liking... Be interesting to hear what the ride is like, on hard bump driving.

I like the design though, going to treat my RS to some new black rims soon....

Looks fabulous, rather like the 'rubber band' appearance on concept cars but i wonder how it will drive

It's on 235/30/20 tyres..

Anyone know if the 20" V Spoke wheels from the RS4 would fit the RS3?

I think I may go with a set of Vorsteiner VFF 103 in the Brushed Aluminum finish!

Personally I'm not feeling the sx rim, they look like they stick out slightly in the centre, I prefer concave or flat. I really liked the bbs fir but they don't make them in the correct fitment 😞

Hi - This is my car, i had the Raywell's put on last weekend once Audi had sorted the top mounts.

I was a bit undecided about wheel choice, it was always going to be black to match up with the black pack, and once i'd seen these in the flesh it was a no brainer. I had read on here lots of negativity about running 20" on the RS3, and wasn't sure what to expect from a ride quality and handling point of view. Now, im no car expert, and certainly not an authority on handling, under-steer / over-steer, etc, however in my opinion, the handling has been transformed, the under-steer on hard cornering is much less noticeable, there has been no noticeable difference with the quality or hardness of the ride. The only thing worthy of mention was that the TPMS had to be reset twice on the day i had them fitted which i believe it is down to the ABS 'learning' the rolling radius (please someone correct me if im wrong).

I know my choice of wheel won't be everyone's cup of tea, personally i love the look and as i said, im more than happy with the ride quality and the improvement in cornering (maybe someone can explain to me why under-steer is improved with a larger tyre size).

I bet that the increased grip at the front is related with tire brand vs wheel upsize. Stock Pirelli's is not the best performance tire. For UK cruising roads can be okay but i just don't trust 30 series tirewall for autobanh speeds at +180mph or even attack high speed corners aggressively. I think that reducing the gap between fender and tire via suspension should be enough to make the 19" look bigger and better suited on the car.

I actually had MPSS on the previous wheels and now Conti's on the new ones. Front end grip is deffo better with the new arrangement

Yeh you can go 19x8.5 +47 on front

And 19x8 +45 on rear which is what you have now

wish I had know that before I got 19x8 et47 all around -_-

EDIT: Had springs fitted today, they have not settled yet and already changed the handling dynamics so much!

Question, the rear arches are filled perfectly all the way round but the front arches seem a well... archy. How can I fill them out at the sides to make it seem more even all the way round?

Well, I pulled the pin on a set of Vossen CVT wheels today.  Going 19x8.5" et45 all around.

I won't get them for about 4 weeks though!  I'll get some pics up once they're on!!

I was advised not to go 8.5 all round because of clearance and rubbing issues at the back, did you test fit them?

ET47 / 8s on the back of mine and its already nearly flush ^^
