That just does not look right!

Oh dear... Looks like the Russians have the 'small brake kit' and shopping trolley wheels...

I saw some nice looking Niche wheels online, but at $2000 PER WHEEL I think I will be looking for something else!!

who's car is that, are those Team Dynamics 18" 8.5? What offset? Do they catch anywhere? Need a set of wheels for the track and looking to get TD 1.3 like these I think but shop says I should have et40 which I have two sets off 19 and 18 (1.2) and both when pushed catch the arch front and rear. Want 235 all round. Does anyone have 18x8.5 with 235 all round in which case what offset and which alloys? Mines lowered on KW DDC Coilovers.

They arent on a members car, it looks like a russian plate on it! quite frankly, i'm suprised 18" wheels clear the calipers!

Standard winter wheel in Germany. They clear just fine and apart from catching on the arches they take the curbs far better on track, especially at the ring.
However those Russian wheels look like lower profile on 18s as they look a LOT smaller than mine.20140715_180755.jpg
that was before the KW kit.

slight tangent to this thread - i have finally found the spec i want, brand new, in stock at dealer, 8% discount - boxes ticked except one....

the wheels are the complete silver rather than the black ones I like.

Seems crazy to not take the car as its so rare to find in  stock etc.... anyone know if you can change the standard silver wheels to black with powder coating and can they do the diamond cut too?

if not i will likely buy replacements but thats gonna be ridiculous (unless anyone on here is getting aftermarket and wants to sell their black ones?)

You can have them refurbed to any colour you want later! I opted for standard wheels because I was going aftermarket anyway, 5 months with car and I'm still on standard wheels.
Get the car and enjoy it :)

It's a month old post, so I don't know if you bought it or walked away. Can you not ask if they will swap the wheels with another RS3 (may be a demo one) at another dealership?
