If that's the exact ones they will add then they do not do anything for me. Especially at 3K. But then that seems to be standard price for buckets... Was the same option on the VW and in didn't buy them either, and do not regret it ;-)

It was the first thing I ticked on the options list on the RS4 so I'm with you guys there, it'll make it pretty desirable at resale.

That said I'd like to see them before I ordered as I'm a big fan of the previous Recaros and not too sure on the look of these yet.

I agree......they kinda remind me of the VXR Vauxhall made Recaro Lookalikes where they don't really look right

I am with Booker on this - but not with the red stitching. For me an RS has to have buckets ...

I'd have a job to get out of them with all my creaking bits but I'd still want them

3k would however get us a pretty sick motability scooter Roy or some jazzy dental veneers ...(oh yeh I've already got them) lol

Were the last buckets not around £2k? They also looked much better

 

The problem here is that with the previous RS3, the standard seats looked crap IMO and buckets were needed

 

Where now you can have the supersports for £750 which are quite good looking seats

Obviously some marketer at RS HQ has investigated how sought after the MK1 buckets are and all RS buckets to be fair and has put a big premium on them as an option
