All NE Audi is Benfield and I've been back in the NE for 12 years and on to Audi 9 and 10 in the same period and only 2 bought from local dealers both of which they cocked up. Teesside is rapidly going down in my estimation judging on today's experience of them. A simple s-tronic and haldex oil change and they can even FCUK that up. But its OK because I have nothing better to do than take in tomorrow.......

 

Back to 8V, it sat outside Teesside all day today so can't be many takers; Benfield's RS6 was booked out 2 weeks in advance.

Got to say I'm not feeling the all-black look either, just looks like an s-line black edition. Pity Audi have not elected to do black tips on the sport exhaust a la RS4/5/6/7

I must admit I've got an issue with the black pack on any Audi - reminds me of everyone blacking out their Fiestas and Novas in the 80s and 90s. I agree with the S-Line comment - but then again we're back to the visual impact theme again on the Mk 2

Agreed re black unless it's Panther which is worth the extra washing.  It's a whole rainbow, seen through sunglasses.

Just called into Macclesfield Audi to pick up the front Discs I bought earlier this week.....

They have a Black RS3 parked outside.....,
I must say it does look very nice in the flesh..









The salesman said no test drive, he did However start it up...... Oh my, what a sound and this had the sports exhaust / mag ride.

He did say the problem manifests itself within the first 600 miles and once any cars get past that there isn't an issue, but to be safe Audi are fitting a modified part.
Any cars that fail won't be covered by Audi they have been told hence them all being grounded.

Another interesting thing was when we went in to look at what was coming through, he said there was a physical car available now (Sepang) within inchcape stock £47000 if I remember, may be of interest if anyone is after one now.

That looks so much better in all black rather than the one with so-called aluminium styling pack.  Do you know if it was Mythos or Panther?
