There will be opportunities for deals when the launch & press cars start hitting the market .... then there will be ones that are used at Audi Experience days (not sure how long they run these for)

Just been to see the new one at the local dealer, they have sold all new slots until next year!
so there might be a few around in a years time ?
Talking to a different salesman than normal he was telling me that they cant use it until tomorrow. but they had already used the launch in the car park !!
It is Sepang blue with with Lunar silver interior and extended "suede" door panels and much more that i could not see or know about that is an extra
The interior looks so much better than the outside at first glance but im sure it will grow on me !
I took a price/spec guide with me i dread to think how much one would cost if I was ordering new,,,,

How, when, why we pay for it........... All different.

Back to the video - callow youth and beards - clearly a winning formula to get test drives.
I'll be interested to see just how different the 8V is from the S3 I tested last year. That one was off the scale bonkers.
(But not as cheek-clenchingly quick as the RS)

Certainly felt old when I saw those road testers!Back to the video - callow youth and beards - clearly a winning formula to get test drives.

Although it's not for me, I have a sneaking suspicion that someone else in my house sees herself in one <hears bank account alarm sounding>One things for sure, we'll all probably end up in an 8V at some point.
How, when, why we pay for it........... All different.

I had to sign a contract (napkin) to say I wouldn't get the new RS3...
A couple of months later it turned out it was not for sensible reasons like 'we can't afford it' or 'you've only just had a new car 6 months ago' - it was because she wanted one so I wasn't allowed!
So I said we could 'share' it, and off to the dealers we went!

It may just be my perception however I do not recall so much PR for any other RS model in recent years which leads me to wonder, is this going to be a mass market big seller RS car moreso than we had first thought and with so many around, what will residuals be like after 12-18 months when the new build allocation will be available. I'm not suggesting 7Golf R numbers but enough not to make these cars hold up well?

I fear that may be the way. Audi have openly stated they want to sell LOTS more RS cars, hence them being available earlier in the platform lifecycle.

Normally with most RS models they wait till the end of the line to release them but with the RS3 they've jumped early to sell more numbers plus numbers won't be limited like the 8p which is another reason I'd like to try and keep mine and source the new one another way not trading in
Same with the RS6/7. And the TT-RS will follow the new trend of being available for lots more time.
