The R8 ones tempted me however the £500 price did not

I was thinking that they would look very nice... And then I scrolled down! :o  :o  :o

Haha!

Yep that's the killer £500

http://pages.ebay.co...id=281278688908

Saying that I may still be tempted if I was keeping the RS long term.

Similar thing with the official RS mats I could've bought some for £600 but that is quite frankly ridiculous, just went to Autostyle and had some made.

I've noticed the new RS3 has taller paddles but I expect they won't retrofit the 8P and being an Audi part will be V expensive as well.

I must admit I thought these were largely stick on tat and not for me...

However having driven a Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 with huge paddles in full manual sport mode, round Thruxton, and prior to that run was in a Porsche Cayman I can see the potential benefit of paddle extensions.

Love mine but in retrospect might have preferred them in black. large silver paddles do catch your eye a lot. I don't use 'S' on the gearbox anymore. Only use 'D' for poodling around then knock the gearstick over to full manual for the fun bits.

They are on fleabay from China. Google "auto-superman paddle extenders" and Bob's your Auntie.

Hi P_G,  I've found the store but there is no reference for RS3. What reference did you take ?

They fit most pre 2013 s-tronic paddles, not specifically for the RS3. B8 RS4, R8, C7 RS6 etc have the newer larger paddles but still not wide enough for shorter fingers.

They serve a purpose for me Kevin are concealed by the steering wheel rim and I'm not asking you to buy them.

Holy Thread Resurrection Batman!

Just thought I'd share these as after 2.5 years I decided to upgrade the paddles I had. The reach and extension was great but they did have a tendency of stabbling me in the leg when getting in and out of the car with the wheel at the wrong turn position so went back to Argon Creative and as they now CNC a lot of their carbon work I asked them to make a revised version and they came up with these.....
