They sit an inch or two lower so worth it if (like me) you need the headroom.  They also look a bit more special.  In the same way that Elton John's glasses always look a bit special.  The red stitching in the quiltey bits is a bit OTT for some but can be toned down to grey. Other than that....a waste of money really.  I'd have paid £700 to have the standard seats lowered an inch and so saved myself £95!  It might have been cheaper to get some custom seat mounts made...

Yeah I figured it was just a marketing gimmick but I wanted to go fos anyway so going for free is a good excuse. Already going to the meet on 7 th June, plus ultimate street car at the end of August, plus a boys trip to Amsterdam, only so much I can get away with so the free tickets were a great excuse!

I tend to agree with you - although I've never felt that the Mk.1 looked very RS at all, and I'm questioning in my own head whether the new one is 'RS-enough' as well. The RS4/5/6 in my eyes are in a different league for 'full-frontal effect' in my opinion ....

Looking past the obviously colour dilemma of battle fleet grey. I think the new shape looks more solid and sturdy so in my head says will handle better but I just doesn't say RS the front end of the current one and the Flaires arches to are much nicer.
But I guess it's a little bit of wolf in Sheeps clothing doesn't look all the exciting but from some of the vids I've seen I goes sounds and handles pretty well roll on end of the year when I can order one !
