UK configurator is down again... They are removing all colour options apart from Nardo and making all possible options part of one single big pack so whatever option you want, you have to buy EVERYTHING!

What is the deal with the uk configurator? Down for two days?
Its back up now, don't see any difference to be honest, do any of you guys?
The Bucket Seats do look fantastic and I would have chosen them when I ordered, if they had been available. But upon reflection, they look very deep and I know that is the idea, but as an everyday drive? What are the MkI ones like to use everyday and am I getting too soft at 40?
Kibber.
I'm 60 and I love the buckets in mine, very supportive and comfortable on long journeys

I'm not far off that milestone too and I love the buckets. The Super Sport ones do look to be very narrow - perhaps more narrow than the current ones - and they have a fair slo[e bakc on the seat base too. Anyone considering them could do worse then to take a trip to a German Audi dealer who has a demo car (or perhaps even Dutch dealer as I guess the supply and options the same as Germany) ?

Used to have a Condor Grey RS3 8P, and before that a further 47 assorted money pits
I've sat in the SS seats of the launch car in London, and as far as I can tell they're the same as the SS seats in a couple of S3s I sat in yesterday. I'm 15.5 stone and very broad of shoulder and fitted them perfectly. The seat base slope is adjustable and the seat base can extend to support long legs or heavy testicles. Standards seats will do neither. I'd say the SS seats give an extra inch or so extra headroom too versus standard. The dealer said 2".
