Sorry pat. Not sure I get why it has to be so lary and not sure Forza is the best place to mocking these things up.

With all the money you're spending on the car might be worth paying someone handy with photoshop (graphic design student?) a couple of quid to do some proper mock-ups.

I am going to look at using someone that designs and paints custom jobs and hot rods

Forza can play with all colour schemes to give an idea and give an impression whether what's in your minds eye works or not

I don't really want a one colour car, I prefer the Motorsport look but not a load of wrapping or stickers (certainly not after reading the thread about it lol) I am after something that is "out there" but as you talk about lary, I don't want that.....Questionable and debatable is good thoughAttached File  image.jpg   50.2K   31 downloadsAttached File  image.jpg   46.04K   24 downloads

All blue gets my vote.

It's your car, but I was being diplomatic, two tone looks shite.

If your keen on the orange and blue theme use the orange for detail like you suggested with the calipers. Include the parts that would usually be part of the Alu pack, mirrors triangles on the wheels etc but the two tone on the body maybe a little to far for me.

Still playing with ideas John....I had to put the mad ones on here for scrutiny as you can get very blinkered and too immersed in own ideas. I won't be going traditional though as I've said
If you look at Motorsport paintwork some of that is insane but seems to work ok as its on the track. Similar to what bands wear on stage would look mad if worn in Morrisons lol. Finding a happy medium somewhere

Thanks for all the comments though guys

Not a fan of the wheel triangles been painted but on the red one posted on here I do get it and it adds that bit of difference
I'll be going for different wheels anyway although there are some OE alternatives that look cool that are potential options

its not really unique

Unique is never going to happen unless maybe some custom hot rod paint job and an airbrushed honey on the bonnet....or some mad one off wrapping....no normal paint job has not been done or tried somewhere...and can be found with the click of a button...20 years ago you would never see certain colours in most of the UK....or some cars

ive only ever seen several lambos on the road and only one McLaren but with t'interweb and "Top gear" they are everywhere

I am thinking it through and taking it all in guys....im doing little else at present believe me lol

My concern would be quite simple - does it have to look outlandish bordering on ridiculous to be unique, or could that individuality you clearly seek be achieved in a more subtle and tasteful manner?? :)

No it doesn't at all......but is there any harm having fun experimenting with ideas on a car costing £1.50
Ok help me out.....imagine your car your choice your ideas....oh and my money to paint it lol. What would you do with it, how would you do it ? I am interested

I will add my twopennyworth to the debate... after a few glasses of red (defence...:-))

Dons flame suit ..

I would definitely go for subtle over brash for the RS3 - the lines of the car are (imho) better suited to muted shades rather than bright. I would be thinking of a black / grey base with a subtle metal flake on top of silver with perhaps some gold ...

Love the wheels you posted earlier and would have those with the body colour at the tips...

I wonder what Chip Foose would come up with ?

For me it would have to be 1 solid colour for sure. With as much extra clear coat as possible to make it shinier than moon!

I'd be looking at Nardo Grey or another grey colour but with the callipers and other little touches done in a really bright colour, like the lambo Orange. Maybe then take the Orange next level by doing the interior leather in Orange with grey stitching, shiny grey seat backs, inlays in the grey etc.
