Matte when OEM and not a vinyl wrap and in the right colour can look great with some Crystal Serum on top to give it some sheen and protection. Matte Sprang is OK but I fear Sepang is the new Sprint and has no exclusivity now where every Audi owner can order it relatively inexpensively.

I'm still thinking matte Nardo for my replacement RS3 if I order one.

Im with You on this I have nardo matte and Daytona matte with the right wheels do look awesome.
Matte black just reminds me of a black board

I was contemplating that one a while ago. There are slim pickings left on DVLA that are worth going for

p

Which was why I got it now before it went....l think it suits something that's one off and a bit nuts in a world full of OEM don't you think ?
The car is a massive business but it's also not to be taken too seriously which about sums me up too....the plate is the same

Any good suggestions or ideas I can pass on guys ? Or go to PSI page on FB and post em up...we really aren't sure what to do or how to tackle it...Carbon is an option tooAttached File  image.jpeg   59.97K   14 downloads

Just needs to be something bespoke but without looking like we stole it from another motor i.e Ford RS .. Impreza .. Evo etc and definately not looking cheesy at all ..

Steal it from Aston Martin or the supercharged Jaguar bonnet pleats.

BMW M2 in Mineral Grey

Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TDi Black Edition

Used to have a Condor Grey RS3 8P, and before that a further 47 assorted money pits

It depends how mad you want to go but I'd be tempted to get some louvres pressed directly into the existing bonnet to a design of your choice. They can also be positioned differently and tailored from a performance aspect

I think you might have a glance at this - idea would be to follow the crease lines already in the bonnet (other designs are available) :

That is an option if there are those that can do it ?.?.?....except for an area near the back all the obvious places have the bonnet framework in the way to be able to just cut out a section or shape and it look correct so that has to be considered too
Should have posted a pic of the underside too

Some great ideas though cheers

Could go carbon if anyone is making them (and can be bothered to reply to enquiries) then scoops or vents can be added more easily

Yeh we have a look
Just want a nice functional design, there's a few out there and can also use fibreglass underside so it doesn't look like a hatchet job

Pat what about something curved [ scoop ] like half ice cream cone.

You could adjust height, width, type of curve, length and position to mirror or extenuate the two existing bonnet curves.

Hope that makes sence

PS

If its Louvres you decide on they are not that difficult to produce any small engineering firm with a fly press would probably be able to help you.

The ones on the original Sagaris were mental but since even you car won't have wings to carry those off, the GT12 bonnet would be spot on
