Just checked in since last post.... Seems like I've opened a can of worms! Still happy with Apr map... Just got my Apr updated propshaft bolts this Morning too from psi... 9 bolts for 90 quid! Let's hope they work.

It's the Donut rubber that hardens on the rear uprated bolts won't make any difference.

Josh had the uprated bolts but it was the Rubber in the donut that was deteriorating because it's close to the exhaust

Apparently the new revised shaft can take a lot more torque.

J, I can only apologise on our behalf now. Im not sure if you are aware of the huge transition APR has gone through in the last 12 months, with the business being purchased by Mangrove and a whole new management structure being put in place, people leaving and new staff coming in.

All the way upto March 2014 program switching was very much being worked on, however as part of the takeover every single ongoing project was looked at and evaluated. Im sorry to say this was one such project that wasn't deemed viable.

I cannot comment on Stage 3 from other companies. Yes its a costly, premium kit however its had 30-40 guys working on it since its inception and some of the hardware included is second to none - inconel cast manifold etc.

Im sorry you feel that way about APR, if there is anything I can do in future to bring you back over as a customer please let me know.

Your last point is a good one J, which is why we are trying to keep as many new developments close to our chest now. in the past, details of products leaked which honestly may never come to fruition. Its the nature of the beast, just take a look at the forums for B8 S4 and Stage 3 supercharger. its been a while but Magnusson are now releasing that kit and APR are offering a tune  :)

Fair play Wayne thanks for trying to respond to all of our frustrations  :up_it:

15 launches on the runway last weekend and the prop held out, (thankfully). The cover for the rear towing eye was left half way up the runway on about run 12 though.

I bought it to use it probably only do 30 launches a year half on the runway half at Inters but it is a lot in one day I suppose. I have the updated bolts and AMD said the originals showed no sign of wear on replacement. Fuel economy averaged 20 MPG that day including 200 mile round trip. Was obviously lower mid afternoon 😂

Have loads of vids on the dashcam but there all in one minute segments need to go through about 128 gb worth of data pick some out and stitch a few together, no mean feat.

Well not sure if its the placebo affect but seems to be a slightly nicer start up. As for performance its seems ready as ever to accelerate. Perhaps the cooler weather is also helping fight heat soak. Will be going to Santa pod to get a few lap times. I'm actually liking the ARB upgrade more as the handling just seems so much more alive and confidence inspiring. Havnt had much of chance to see how effective the intercooler really is, looking forward to a good run in soon

Sounds good, been looking at the KW v3 too for coilovers... Only bought the car last year December and already done so much so may give it a break (although that's what I always say!)
