My prop shaft failed when the car was standard at around 4000 miles, I had the same problem with the courtesy car but refused the offer of an A1and demanded an RS or S model, it look a while to deliver but I was given an S3 sportback the same day! May be a bit of a snobby thing to do but I was worried it may take weeks to fit so why should I have driven something sub-standard to mine!
The fix took just over a week at Stockport Audi, didn't get questioned on any mods as they have had several visits from people with the same failure. My point was that a car of such power should be built to withstand the stress of the LC, no matter how many times you used it (within reason).
I asked if it wasn't covered by warranty what would the cost be and was advised it would be around £2500
Good luck

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if your car has been remapped then you have got no chance of anything being covered under warranty.
As soon as they realise that the ECU has been tampered with they will wash their hands of it.

I took a lot of flak for not using LC once I had it mapped, but I just didn't want it to go and me be in the same situation as you are now.
I hope they don't spot it, but I fear the worst.
