RS7, if size wasn't an issue that is a car that would be a pleasure to own. I test drove one and was given an opportunity to spend time with it and it feels so compact inside and when it's flying it's so quick and smooth that you are unaware how fast you are going. And most of all it has a well deserved presence. Let's not get started on the sound, the ground was vibrating whenever I put my foot down!
I think you will like it Styxz.
Looking forward to a bit more space RS Addict TBH, even got servicing quotes to see how much the extra running costs are going to be.
Comparing the RS6 & RS7 brochures, you get a lot more standard kit on the 7.
May still wait to see what the new RS3 looks like. Let's hope it gets announced next month

Good you got what you wanted for it anyway.

Apart form the car being too big to park where I wanted it to be, the bit that bothers me about the RS7 is that to date around 40 of them have been registered in the UK and 9 of them are on Autotrader for sale with some huge discounts, particularly the dealer ex Demo's. The monthly payments aren't too much more but you have to wonder whether they are due to lose another huge chunk of money. I mean, you can get a 2014 with less than 8k miles on the clock for sub £70k which has carbon, light, interior and dynamic pack, sports exhaust, Keyless, ceramics and B&O! That must have cost a few pennies short of £100k in the first place. and the same 9 have been up for a while now.
I have no doubt it is a ballistic car but it is a big investment to make for more straight line speed which most of the time you won't be able to use and a bigger interior. as to running, local C7 RS6 owner is citing teens at best for average MPG, said his mapped C6 was more economical but the C7 is dynamically in another universe even at just shy of 2 tonnes.

It's an epidemic, run, save yourselves!
but...if you have a Daytona grey (or blue!!! Yeh right!), 10-25k miles, with the buckets, then run in my direction and I'll protect you!!
