As many of you know my time with the RS3 has come to an end.
Other than brake squeal in the early days the cars been great to live with and was totally transformed with APR's software into a hatchback that beat supercars and superbikes with a small press of the loud pedal.
We've had immense fun around Monaco, The stelvio pass, Wales and the Lake District but I've had the RS3 for 2 years which is a long time for me and felt the need to increase the size of the car because we were more often than not using the wife's car with more room.
So for now my journey with the RS3 is over!
I thought my new car deserved it's own thread following a quick wash on delivery day….
Neighbours and wife think i've lost the plot washing and waxing a brand new car but as we all know dealer prep isn't great and my car cleaning OCD wouldn't allow all the dead flies stuck to the front following the 300 miles we've clocked up today.
First impressions, Well it was sad to see the RS3 left alone in the car park but we hadn't even been given the keys for the RS4 when Audi were showing a couple over the car
The throttle takes a fair bit more to wind up the V8, On the private disused run way at 110+ it's as punchy as the RS3 but doesn't throw you back like 400 horses i'm used to.
It still takes off with a growl thats enough to put a smile on any petrol heads face.
Bucket seats combined with the DRC surprisingly gives a ride i'd be happy to drive to the south of France with no sore back or ar*e complaints so thats all good.
I've been fortunate enough to be able to spec plenty of things i've missed not having in the RS3 combined with a bit more luxury too now i'm getting sensible
Anyway without again bumbling into another "review" i'll leave you with some pictures and perhaps in a few weeks time add a few lines to how the RS4 is to live with as I know there are a few considering their next move.
Before I do i should say i'll not be going anywhere, Neither is AudiRS3Oc, I'll be sticking around to keep you lot in order and organise the 2015 show calendar.
