Good afternoon, this is Mrs Roy.  After criticising my roast potatoes last Sunday I decided that we would reverse roles today - I would sit on the sofa for the afternoon watching war films and classic car programs with intermittent trips to the computer to chat to his forum friends, punctuated with the buying of unnecessary items on ebay, while he gets busy with the chicken.  So here we are.....not much going on in the kitchen area at the moment but I wait in anticipation.

Any tips on getting my old man to move as quickly as his car???

Mrs Roy[Sara] its not on Roy criticising your cooking, make him take you out for an expensive  Sunday Lunch and  that way he won't have so much money to spend on that car of his :84: .As for getting him to move as quickly as his car, that might be like flogging a dead horse   :ambulance:  so maybe you should think about part exchanging him for a younger more sporty model. :m0168:

I can't  understand why he spends so much time at the Golf club if you are fitter than his profile photo. :up_it:

Hello Ben,

Good idea, but if he takes me out for lunch it means I have to spend an hour or two with him on my own, who'd want to sit opposite that ugly mug for any length of time?

As for the bloody car, it now wears a better winter coat than I do!, it gets caressed and whispered to every other day and this afternoon I caught him lying down beside it, he claims he was polishing the brake bells but I'm not so sure....

Anyway, the dinner was OK, spuds could have done with a bit longer in my opinion, but that's what happens when you forget to flip them over half way through cooking.

I agree with Daytona, He really should take you out seeing as though he's just spent all that money on the big turbo upgrades :)

Yep..... If Roy can spend 10-15k on a big turbo kit surely a £100 pound Sunday lunch is only fair

i was disapointed with my rs4 advent 2013 I've just sold it. and got myself a c63 black edition. the Audi felt old to me i did not lose much money when trading it in. because big discount on the rs4 when i got mine..

the c63 is a lot quicker and sharper to drive. where the Audi felt heavy at the front and had under steer at the limit. well every car as its faults but i felt the rs4 would not hold its price as well. the advent as a limited appeal

whatever Audi you have aint coming past me.. lol

i had a 61 plate RS3 in red with bucket seats a few years ago. it could of being a great hot hatch but the god damn brake problems even after the re-call real same. i hope the new RS3 will be better when its released 2016 so I'm told

Was the Advent the Christmas edition that came with chocolate hidden in the cubby holes?

Oh very funny lads.

I have done all my chores for the day and my hands are nice and soft !

As for the big turbo conversion,,,,,,,,,, if she

(the wife............. that is sadly not top left)

would stop spendin money on this new fakin kitchen then the BIG turbo conversion could have taken place !!

Still you cant beat new cupboards, flooring, and worktops etc etc  and a fridge freezer can ya ????    :(  :(  :(

lol..... new freezer is always something to remember. think of all the good times ahead as well. carrying in the frozen food then putting it away

and even cooking some of it.. but at least you can look at your new worktops when your cleaning them

good choice

Thanks Dan.

By the way

I was working In Berkeley Square a few months back about 10 pm and a few nice cars went past as you would think in that part of london and by far the best sounding one out of all the Lambo's ferrari's Astons etc was the C63 black,we only ever saw one of them and it was by far the best noise

your a very lucky GIT !

Roy I was just stating a fact as I know what the car is like because my brother in law had one & as soon as there was any snow or ice he couldn't even get it off his drive
