Many thanks again for all the nice comments,

I am thinking of moving the front number plate "a la" Alfa Romeo style,,,,, every time you see the nicest pictures of an RS they have the FULL GRILL  showing with no number plates on the grill.

Has anyone else tried this as yet?

Not sure it could be points as the alfas have the plate to the left.

I could be wrong,

was thinking of buying a second hand alfa number plate  plinth and seeing it I could modify it to fit ?

It might look crap it might look great nothing ventured !!!

I have tryed most places to re locate the front plate to, the Alfa plinth idea will not work as it would sit on top of the headlight washer,

Best idea is to find a sympathetic graphic company and make you a plate but be warned they will refuse and tell you it's illegal for them to make number plates or you you to use them as there too easily changed & forged

A friend of mine has a golf G60 & he keeps his front plate attached onto the passenger sun visor & just flips it down, he's not been pulled yet...lol

I got stopped when I was running plateless as the traffic cop i passed thought i had no plate displayed at the front,  once he saw it in the window he wasn't arsed.

I'd prefer a modified front plinth that was smaller or the plate to side at the side on the lower grill however when I've tried this it doesn't loo quite right.

The Alfa plinth might work of mounted below the washer, it will hang over the off side lower grill i think, and trying to get it straight might be also be a problem,,,there MUST be a way !
