Is it possible to turn The autolock off on the car via VCDS so it never autolocks stationary or whilst driving?

Also how do you get the key fob to unlock all doors with one click rather than the standard 2? Is this possible also?

Cheers.

You don`t need vcds to do either of those. They are both alterable on the MMI screen.

Go into menu click Set- Scroll down to arrow @ bottom & click on- Scroll down again & click on arrow @ bottom.- click on Doors then you get the doors options.

All your current options are ticked....just untick or tick the options you require.

Dell.

Thanks for the replies.

Sorted the unlocking of doors in the menus. 👍

No mention of turning the autolock feature off in there though?

I looked below Dell and can only see the “parking aid” menu.

May need coding with VCDS

Select STG 17 (instrument cluster)
STG coding -> function 07
Byte 0
Activate bit 4
Auto-Lock (lock automatically at speeds above 15 km / h)

Sorry to hijack this thread but I am a noob when it comes to VCDS too.
Is there anyway to have the boost gauge on the instrument cluster on the same screen where the digital speed is displayed? I put in a new head unit so nothing really displays where the radio station is normally so wondered is I could put the boost gauge there instead??
Thanks for any help

Aftermarket head units aren’t 100% compatible with the DIS, something to do with the Audi protocols in the dash.

I remember nearly purchasing a pioneer head unit for my previous 8P RS3 and the place that sold then warned me that certain functions wouldn’t show up in the DIS.

It is possible using a MFD board upgrade however our model hasn’t been done yet. An 8J posted this recently so it’s definitely in the making.

Just adjust your display to a different setting so you don’t have to see a blank area if it bothers you. You can add the convenience menu through vcds which opens up a couple more values to be seen on the display, also shows you your fuel range even when the low level is enabled.
