Looks lovely - well done mate. Always great when lady luck touches someone who is close.

Just make sure you don't try and save it for the museum - run it in and give it a spanking from time to time - it will make you smile from ear to ear every time!

I’m planning on it being my daily so it’ll get well used! I’m not of the museum parties, cars are to be used and enjoyed!

Grip it & rip it my man!  You (as are we all) are going to be a regular at the local Tesco filling station but think of the smiles per gallon rather than the cost.

And actually, if you do drive it normally it isn't so bad - it just took me 2 years of being a hooligan to get it out of my system. Done a few trips now averaging 35mpg thanks to the cruise control.  The loud pedal is always so tempting though...

Yeah loving the smiles per gallon already!

To be fair it didn’t do too bad up the A1 today back home 29mpg, not bad for a first drive.

Sure it will decrease over time until I relax on the loud pedal

29 is a great result for a first cruse mate.  It took me 2 years of ownership to see anything like that!  How far up the A1 are you btw - I am just North of Huntingdon and am due a blast at Bedford Autodrome in November with Dell, Graham (RS3 JET), John (TX) and Ashey if you are tempted?

We found that everything is more fun when the playing surface is moist.

Yeah the missus wasn’t feeling well and booting it made her feel worse! So thought I’d be kind!

We are in Boston, Lincs so not much further up the A1

Will have to look at the dates, we always seem to have something else planned when meets etc happen! Then the choice would be which car RS3 or 6, an awesome problem to have of course!
