Hi guys,

This question has probably been asked before but does anyone of here run 225 at the front instead of 235 on there 8J rotors?

Is it a NO NO or is there no real difference?

Reason I want to is to have that slight stretch look plus it gives me a bit more clearance on the front with my 11mm spacers on.

Cheers

Bobby.

Remember your major drive is through the front wheels so going 225 for the euro stretch look will compromise grip.

I'm running 235 on 8j with a 8mm spacer & a 20mm drop without any clearance issues.

That’s true as well.

I’m running 11mm they catch on the screw but I have taken the screw out, so far it’s been OK. But thought I’d see people’s opinions on 225s

I'm only running the 8mm spacer so the wheels clear the 8pot brakes.

Can't you rise the car a bit instead of fitting 225s ?

I bought the optional wider 8.5J front rims and 255’s.

fills out the arch without a spacer.

8mm spacer running 8j 235s works out the same as running 255s & cheaper all the way round.

Br1ckt0p problem is his 235s on a 11mm spacer is catching.
