What a load of rubbish Jaguar...What are you thinking....sack your product development people and employ someone who has some sense!
Looks too small, and quite simply hum-drum, going to have to look on the Jag website now, just to mock and slag it off some more....
And a head turner ! Yes maybe .....as it looks like a joke and people in the advert are thinking, WTF is that with a Jaguar badge....
What's with this SUV thing....... why does everyone seem to need a boxy bad handling slower than a normal car .........'Sports Utility' my arse...
What a shame

I'm guessing it's to be able to see over the SUV in front of them at the Waitrose carpark!!

This SUV nonsense stems from the American market, no need for it here as we don't have the big 6 lane highways everywhere instead we opt for smaller pot hole ridden roads..... perhaps that's the point then to have ground clearance over our rough terrain!!

I've been looking at the stats of the 8V RS3 and the 8U RSQ3 recently. While the RSQ3 has slightly more vertical space in the boot IIRC the area is slightly smaller than in the RS3.

My brother in law has a Quashcow and I can guarantee my RS has more passenger space... His Mrs hates parking it.
Burn them. Burn them all now! Or just ship them all away from Europe.
Hateful things.
Did I make my feelings clear??!

Shocking......We've decided we need a 4x4 in the house because of where we live, we have to cross the pavement via a drop kerb to access the drive and on occasions it's been raining.

So what you really need MacD is a new-style SUV that has FWD only...
Apparently they are a fashion statement

seem to have touched a nerve!!!
Will have to find a few other 'Marques' to rant over... I like this reaction thing hehehehe
glad to see my hate of SUV's is a common thing.....
and to think Jaguar think its a good idea, even more shocking.
owners focus groups, customer surveyed, consortium think tank design and marketing gone mad...and the result an E-pace ....lets jump on that wagon with everyone else....Fools

Just like Big Brother showed the world that people are willing to sit and watch TV, watching other people sitting in front of the TV, the Quashcow showed the manufacturers that just having a normal car that sits a bit higher is what the world wants...
Plus what the freck is with Jag's naming policy now? LOL It's like an old French people carrier with part of an "S" missing...!

Should they all be condemned to people carriers or minibusses?

I agree with you all on the whole, but just playing devils advocate for a minute, what about families that require a vehicle with 7 seats?

I seem to remember when I was a kid (one of four!) there were no such things. My dad had a Peugeot 504 estate, three rows of seats. We all fitted fine!
There are plenty of other ways the manufacturers could cater for those who need 7 seats, and let's be honest most of these SUV's only have five anyway... Sometimes four (Mini Countryman!).

Gary.
I'll like to see a family of 7 in a Duke & even an X5
None of the SUV really tick that box & in London the well off areas they do use minibuses & people carriers for the job.
