True Dell, but normally the brakes have turned to sponge on the way home lol.

That's a sure thing with my driving in my RS  :P i did start to loose them again on the way home with Roy  :D

I'm really going to have to get on top off then in the coming month.  ;)

Dell.

I popped into S and overtook them, to see they had ALL wound their wondows down to hear me! Once in front of them, got a couple of flashes from them and look in the rear view mirror to see them all laughing with their thumbs up!

Had a similar experience on the motorway in the UK. Van trundles up beside me, peeps his horn then urges me to floor it. Would have rude not to oblige... Thumbs up when he caught me up again (I dropped back to a gentle cruise).

Dell was the fact you were losing the brakes on the way home because you had to keep slowing down to allow Roy to catch up with you?

In my case the situation is as follows:

Driving wife’s MK7 GTD - no one races me, just scumbags cutting me up at every opportunity and going up the backside of the car and literally almost hitting the car.
Driving the Duchess - MK1 RS3 - different class of scumrags, racing from behind, driving slowly in front and constantly looking in the mirror trying to get a reaction and if none break suddenly, and if still not effective then give up and crawl back to the cave, or let me overtake and then cut me up when I slow down.
Driving Comoany car (MK7 R), even worse funny enough, I even had above and more when a piss of scum driving his A-poo class (apologies Steve MacD for swearing), kept cutting into my lane, tried to race me couldn’t get close and then try to get in front of me no chance. Swore at me and then pushed the wrong button and unfortunately I did the wrong thing and got out and wanted to use my idle boxing skills and he literally was a coward like they all are. I honestly do not enjoy driving any more, until I visit Mr Freeze and we always have some fun. The world is a strange place that I am seriously thinking about getting a Q7 hence why I haven’t changed duchess.
Saving for an RS6😎

I appear to have a serious mid-life crisis going on where I am reverting to acting like an 18 year old - would love a burnup challenge off the lights but, so far, haven't had the opportunity.  You post has relit the beacon of hope!

Your time will come and it will bring a big smile to your face when it does.

LC makes these cars seriously quick off the line and even on a damp road the traction the RS3 is able to achieve is mind boggling.

It's not without its niggles and there are one or two things I'd change about the RS3, but on the whole it really is a cracking car.

Once you set up LC you can keep using it over and over until ignition is switched off!

I found that S3/Golf R owners would usually shrink into their seats at the sight of my RS3, one memory was of a Golf R owner blasting off several sets of lights and tailgating along a series of dual carriageways, I was behind cars but once I cleared them I drew level and I’ve never seen such a depressed look on someone’s face when he looked over, he dropped his speed and refused to acknowledge there was an RS3 to his right as he looked everywhere but at me.
I found it was chavy Type R owners with huge fart cannons hanging out the back and about 130lbft of torque that would try it on.

There is an interesting phenomenon where people refuse to overtake. I find this really annoying on the motorways.

I typically cruise quite slowly by modern standards, and use the inside lane whenever possible. I can see someone slowly catching me up - they are maybe doing 1 mph more than I am, perhaps even just a fraction. I need to pass some lorries so use the second lane for a little while and they end up tailgating me. I’m thinking of times when there aren’t any cars in the third lane yet they still won’t overtake.

A lorry pulls into lane two, I move to lane three and they follow, only then (when I drop back to lane 2) will they overtake. And they overtake so slowly it’s almost dangerous, taking forever to pass and frequently someone else pulls out in front of me or we catch up the lorries again, forcing me to slow down when they could just move over to an empty lane.

It’s weird and it drives me nuts!

Yes I've had that many a time & how about your in lane 3 doing say 80 & a vehicle pops out of lane 2 in front of you & don't speed up to over take the vehicle it's wants to over take ?

Totally madding !

Im not a massive Golf fan but the Son of the owner of Regal Autosports near me has a mega track weapon. Can’t blame him because if my dad owned a tuning company I wouldn’t be complaining about free work. Still doesn’t sound like a 5 pot though.
