Well the parts turned up today and it's not good news. Looks to me like I received exactly the same bits as you Kenny.

The part numbers I received are:

Engine: 509-0052-SD

Attached File  fullsizeoutput_12d.jpeg   43.39K   19 downloads

Gearbox: 509-4015-SD

Attached File  fullsizeoutput_12e.jpeg   43.99K   17 downloads

Dont suppose you would have the part numbers off yours would you?

Yeah, I can already see by your pictures that they look to be the wrong ones for the RS3 8p.

Got the mounts at work so I´ll check the part no´s when I get there. Probobly tonight.

Thanks Kenny. I'm going to contact 034 and inform them of the problem as well.

Yup, exactly as you thought Kenny. They shipped the same parts to both of us. I am going to send them a link to this thread as evidence that they wont fit.

You should do the same as and start the process to get a refund.

Thanks for all the help  :)

Yeah you should send them the link. I'll gladly show them more "evidence" if they want.

I'm actually thinking on a solution to modify them to fit. I don't want to go the vw racing way (looks way to stiff) and my mounts squeek a bit, especially the gearbox side.

The best would probobly to send them back, have a refund and hope that they will design a RS3 8p specific kit haha

They responded to my request to RMA the parts so I can return them for a refund but that's about it. No suggestion of them supplying the correct parts though so we are no further forward.

Thing is I had to pay import duty of £70 to the courier which I need to get back as well. Has anyone got experience of getting a refund on imported goods?

Duke, you should email  ltallai@034motorsport.com at 034 motorsport i spoke to him regarding this issue and he was very keen to get the issue resolved and wanted to hear from customers and help get a new part sorted out that works!

Thanks i'll drop (him) a line as well. I have another contact at 034 asking if my car is DSG as a result of the RMA due to their parts being incorrect for our cars so not sure if they want to progress supplying the right parts.

I'll keep the thread updated with the outcome.

Well they have showed interest in getting as much info from me on the OEM part numbers and chassis number info. They have stated they are looking into a solution but no promises of supplying.

A case of whatcha this space I think  :(

Just come across this so wondering if this is the launch of the version that actually fits our car or is it just a bit of promotion.

Does it look identical duke? Any signs of improvement visually?

These aren't the ones I bought Jay but they had similar to these for other VW/ Audi chassis cars for a while. Manual gearbox's only though. Bloody typical considering this is coming from the land where they all drive Automatic cars  :(

The problem with our RSs is that it wasn't sold in the USA were the TTRS was but in a manual so we left high & dry on the gearbox mount side  :(

Spot on Dell. I think 034 are really trying to help but without a car for them to do the development with we are fairly screwed with ever getting these mounts.

The easy but costly solution is to send 034 a 8P DSG gearbox mount & then they can make a replacement one 😊

Dell.
