To be honest it was in 2012 that mine was done so I'd completely forgotten about the oil pressure updateSame here , once up to temperature it was fine
If I remember I had to ask the dealer if they'd do it as at that time it was a TTRS update that was just starting to be applied to the RS3.
I'm actually surprised that there's still cars out there that haven't had it done yet.

Mines a 2012 n it started all of a sudden , car seems better now but il try it for a few weeks before I start thinking about remap etc
Got a bit of a rattle/noisy timing chain from cold start - Started a couple of days ago.
I actually don't believe it has had the Oil Pressure Firmware Update.
What is the best way to go about explaining the update to my local dealer?
Did it fully fix your issue too?
Thanks.

A main dealer should be able to tell you what software updates your RS has had & any that it's missing.

Can this be done via service/parts department? Like via a phonecall? Or would it need to be booked in etc.
