Any time you like, really.
APR and REVO are good starts for generic maps.
Shaunee here helped develop the Lichfield maps which also seem very good.

That's the full box of popcorn question!  I'll let others fight that one out. :D

Whilst there maybe others, some of the Stage 1 maps available are Revo, MRC, APR and Litchfield.  All respected companies imo.

Ideal thanks i've just put a full milltek exhaust on and a Revo panel filter so I might go for the Revo remap

The thing I have noticed about MRC maps is that their dyno plots show no Torque difference below the standard spool up. In other words no change in torque below 3000 rpm approx. Whereas if you look at the Litchfield offering, that is far more compelling, especially in Stage 2 format.

The low down torque increase, i.e the steep curve is what's important for a non track car. That is where there is the most benefit when in general driving and spirited driving.

Tell that to 458bhp / 650nm :P

The way it drives is seriously in another league, yes, no change below the 2500rpm range but then it just keeps jacking and jacking, I like the work they have done - its still a drivable car.

Its calm and collected when you want it to be and an animal with a lead foot - perfection in my eyes.

Nice!!!

Any interesting mods (exhaust, intercooler upgrade etc) to compliment the stage 2 remap?

Comparison to REVO?

Revo is generic, comes with no DSG map to my knowledge and doesn't compare IMO. The car is so smooth and brutal.

I have Wagner EVO3, Panel Filter and straight through exhaust with hi flow turbo dp.

How much difference did the hi flow turbo downpipe make and which one did you get they fitted, Scorpion or Milltek?

When I asked about changing the downpipe they said the Audi one is quite efficient so no need to change until Stage 2, as you've gone for.

Can you post up the graphs?

As always people should be aware of different dyno's giving different figures..... especially with torque where the MAHA's are concerned.

My torque figure on Litcho's dyno was around the same as above..... but when I ran on a Dyno Dynamics RR I achieved 450ftlb with a bloody big hole in my boost pipe! Ha  I would suspect this torque figure would have been higher had I not a busted boost pipe! lol

MAHA's read conservatively for torque.

Yeah I am chuffed, I am not too worried about extra torque below stock, it keeps it drivable - in this weather I am losing traction all the time, quick blip and the tail likes to step out a bit :P

Speaking for my conversion, mine has done a verified and corrected (for slope) 100-200 run of 9.09s so far.
