I must admit that does look very Menacing/Muscular............

Strongly considering the c63 as next car, want the coupe but out of price range at the moment. Love the look of it

C63S in Wagon and Coupe form are lovely. Owner of the business downstairs where I work had a C63S in white with black optics, pano roof, privacy glass etc and it really suits. And they are without doubt the best sounding FI V8's in the business, even better than mine.

If they had done 4matic on it I probably would have held out for one albeit they are relatively new so prices have not started to tumble just yet. Still not quite liking their interiors either....

As for the BMW's, I know of people who have them, love them and there is no doubting they have great engines and dynamics but as an overall package I just can't get on with them enough to consider buying one. Much like the 911R, I'm sure it possible is one of the greatest driving cars but I don't yearn to have one, possibly because I'm not the greatest driver and wouldn't be able to use it! just as well we are all individuals.

Oh and a dedicated shout out to billyali86; if you actually positively contributed to the forum and could look at some comments objectively and often in jest, you probably wouldn't get half the abuse you do. Not being on here as much because I've changed cars even I can see your contribution is minimal except in those threads that go awry.

Is your life really that insecure that you care what a few people on a forum, most of which you don't know or wouldn't count as 'friends' say about a car marque that isn't Audi on an Audi biased forum? I doubt it so wind your neck in a bit, if anything for your own sake.

If you look back you will see that I like a joke as much as the next person, people will make jokes and I roll with the punches. I like all cars regardless of marque but when the same record is played over and over again it gets tiresome.

You will also see that when I had an RS3 I contributed a fair bit and also answered a number of questions that's owners had even after I changed cars

If you don't like the record then listen to something else, you had an RS3 a year ago and you've changed to BMW don't come on an Audi based forum and expect everyone to blow smoke up BMW's ar$e

I wasn't calling into question your conduct and contribution whilst you were an RS3 owner or your contribution afterward, I was referring to you being one of the protagonists, particularly on the threads that have descended into pre-schoolyard antics. Having not been part of the recent debacles and looking through the threads its easy to see where the inflammatory comments come from and for whatever reason you are one. Your 'mate' Aoon is another and its not the first time as I've seen his sig on other forums, alright when it's going his way but doesn't handle contradictory information or a differing opinion well.

Uncle has a point albeit I would have said don't listen to the same record rather than change it. It's a shame because every forum I've been on in the last 15 years has a period where it descends into this when new members come on board and some of whom are keyboard warriors, was hoping this one may have been different.

It is an Audi biased forum whilst a number on here are general petrolheads, if I went on a BMW forum and shouted how great my RS7 was compared to BMW's I do so expecting what was due in criticism which is why I don't do that.

You will see that I have never said how great my car is compared to the RS3. I think the RS3 is a great bit of kit and loved mine when I had it

Nonetheless your point has been taken on board.

Shall I post up the gif of the "out of control" Beemer Billy, we know it's your favourite ;)

TX.

Edit - you not gonna come back to the fold and get one of those rare TTRS's?

RS3 saloon for me perhaps. Need some form of rear seats and the TT RS is too small. Plus too expensive for what it is

Good review here.....

Didn't mind that review,  seems they are pretty tail happy then as per usual M cars.

Didn't realise BMW did ceramics,  any ex/current owners know if the brakes are better when warm than Audi?

It must be a nice bonus to have ceramic brakes i bet............

It's the upfront manufacturer costs that are scary

I think they are about £6500, I wouldn't spec them unless I was doing track work though

I didn't on the RS4 but having cooked a set on the road and the stuff on forums about issues on the 3,4,5 and 6 I don't really have confidence that I'd not cook them again.

Mine get noisy and vibrate a little when very warm which I know is a character of these but doesn't instill confidence.

Just don't seem to hear of hear issues on Beemers do you.
