Don't really think it's a valid comment as the depreciation each year on a new vehicle will be a minimum of 3 times the cost of a years extended warranty!

Especially if you like the car you have and don't want change it for something else.

Don't bother with warranties...just buy new car before warranty runs out...would be good deposit towards new car

Ahha the automobile makers dream customer. And exactly why they don't make cars like they used to...!

Just had my annual reminder come through this year so I thought out of curiosity I’d have a quote. So last year I managed to get lucky and pay £687 for all components with under 10k and £0 excess. This year (bearing in mind I claimed for new gearbox mount too) I’m at £576 for 10k and £0 excess. I’m guessing prices are dropping unless they work from your existing quote the previous year

My new quote was exactly the same as yours, similar claims too, I have had a gearbox mount, and an electric folding mirror during last year's warranty. With your level of modding Jay won't Audi talk their way out of any warranty work??

Strangely enough I had a folding mirror motor replaced to but that was via my retrofitter. Strange.

Oh yeah I won’t be renewing but was just curious.

How do the warranties work against modified cars?

Anyone has any issues getting them to pay out if the cars not in 'standard' spec

If you haven’t tinkled with the engine and only have bolt on mods that your prepared to swap back to oem parts then that’s the only way.

how are your quotes so cheap!?

Mine is a 12 plate with 28k on the clock and have it set to less than 10k, £100 excess and I am getting £957.12

I have the Audi extended warranty that the car came with when I bought it last year.

Your warranty renewal will probably contribute to a large chunk of your MRC tune bill.

Yeah the renewal will cover most of the MRC bill, but like I say I have been in two minds what to do... upgrade or warranty. The last thing that got done to the car was a new transfer box but the quotation didn’t change before and after.

As for the better skilled driver... I am just gonna say maybe as I’ve never had the chance to show off the ‘skilllllz’ on the track yet haha :-D
