RS3 all day long,I've driven all them in the list and as an everyday all round car the RS3 8v is the winner.

Same here RS3 all day everyday.RS3 all day long,I've driven all them in the list and as an everyday all round car the RS3 8v is the winner.
And it's nice to have the Golf GTD as an alternative (goes like stink handles like its on rails and DSG to boot)

current market, as both have said above... RS3
But there are plenty of cars I would choose as a second as Sean has done, and probably get a GTD also.
If I wasn't looking in a sporting/RS-ish direction, some kind of SUV.. interested in the new Q5 diseasel when it comes out, or Jag F-Pace diseasel and probably test drive them both at around the same time.

but they don't account for owners by weight - or do VW secretly size you up on the way in and go "Oh near, no Santiago for you" LOOOOOL

Well i probably couldve guessed this outcome posting on an RS3 forum! But i think i agree for me personally the RS3 is the best as well, fast as hell looks the nuts sounds even better and its still a family hatchback! Plus where i live on a small island with almost exclusively B and some nice A roads about the size of the other 3 mainly the 6 and 7 would just be too much. I see some new A6 drivers struggling around town
Ive owned in this order a B8 S4,8p RS3,B8.5 S5,B8 RS4 and now have the 8v RS3 which in my opinion is the best all-round car Audi make.Opinions are like A$$oles we all have one but some stink more than others

RS6 for me. With lowering springs and a proper 4 wheel alignment it no longer handles like a boat (the ones on air are more boat like).
Why no RS4 on the list?

See i love the RS3 and it would orobably be the best choice in value/performance and for my location but then RS6 cause its a bloody beast as well as practical but then also R8 cause if you strecthed a little past 60k you cpuld get a facelift V10 with s tronic and just... its an R8.
They all have the performance but the R8 really is a supercar. You see it and its a supercar you drive it down the street and everyone sees it as a supercar. Even the original V8 thats now like 40k still has pure presence.

Only problem is, I wouldn't be able to. My drive isn't that big and would be a struggle to park it on. There's no way I'd park it on the street. So for me to get an RS6 we'd have to move. You reckon the wife would go for that? 😂
There's nothing else out there that I'd trade for. I couldn't bring myself to buy a mundane everyday car, it would kill me. I've only ever bought the top dog of the model I've wanted. Wouldn't feel right knowing there's a model above mine! 😂😂
