A number of people have tried ABT on RS3 and stated no gains from stock....beware...reputable magazine also noted no difference.
That's a statement and half.....

Not what an article in Audi Driver said.......
I'm sure i read an article stating ABT had extracted 424hp and 391 lb ft from the RS3 8V.
So the 555hp one is 0.8s quicker in the quarter mile vs standard car impressed that they can extract so much power though tbf.

The real world performance figures from the ABT offering doesn't look particularly impressive compared to stock.
I will go further and say the bang for your buck is partially poor and not worth throwing your warranty out of the window for such small gains.
The figures speak volumes, thanks for posting.
Where is MRC in that!

Who is the tuner in the number 2 spot?

im taking a guess its
oettinger tuning
Thank you RS3owner, that looks like the chap, my eyesight is not as it once was
no problem. looks like a good map if its just a map.
the cost for the extra bhp to 555bhp is it really worth the expense for the roads, unless you tracking or dragging the car is it necessary ?
As usual with these things torque is the driving force, I have snipped the 2 tuning options from their site below and it looks like the "basic" one is just a remap, I wonder if the GB is remapped as well as all that extra torque must tales it toll on the clutches. Agreed on the 555 option, I don't think it offers much even for track use compared to the "basic" tune below, brakes, tyres and suspension are far more important considerations first.

I'd like to see some rolling 50 - 100mph times. We all know the car can already get off the line well and is near the limit of traction anyway regardless of the extra power you put into it.
The modded cars don't seem massively quicker although I guess at Autobahn speeds you may notice a few hundred horses more
