Is there anything "special" about Nardo or do we just crack on and clean it as per all the other colours?

Just leave it until the lacquer peels off then give it a top coat

 

I'd imagine it'd just be the same treatment as any other

Same as any other colour, however the nardo paint is meant to be quite soft so a good wash method to minimise swirling or marring.

 

2 bucket method with grit guards

Have to say that I've been using Autoglym blue cloths to apply Aqua wax and dry at the same time. Two cloths - one to apply the wax and wipe off the excess moisture and a second cloth to remove remaining moisture and buff. Very happy with the finish. Read the instructions and Try it.

TX have a flick through Matt's weekly maintenance wash recommendations and grab all the gear he suggests you should have. Other than that it's still (just about) a colour with clear coat on so not to worry too much mate.

This is "interesting", the car is just over 1 month old not cleaned by the dealer to the best of my knowledge although it was quite shiny when collected + I have washed it twice:

ahhhhhh, swirls already.. I'm pretty sure the boys will have some kind of advice for you.. Speak to Matt from obsidian detailing I'm pretty sure he will tell you what's the best way or another nardo owner on here or like Roy said you can respray it lol

Oz its just like a hoover but in reverse

 

It blows air out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, so you can stop drip marks and sometimes negate the use of a drying towel of some kind

Our car had some swirls (and other stuff) on it despite it not being washed by the dealer. Hence it went straight to the detailer from the dealer to have it sorted out before we got our hands on it.
