I'll probably pick her up sometime in the next 2 weeks - I'm travelling on business and need to get my current motor sold as well. Everything kind of happened at once!

Thanks guys, I have to say that as much as I was sure what I was doing - this pic from the dealer still took my breath away when I saw it! I'm hoping to try and pick her up end of next week ..... really can't wait!!

 

The guy I work beside saw this, and has promptly cancelled his A45 order and bought a B7 RS4 in Daytona on Monday night instead - can't fault his logic

For the sake of a couple of weeks you were always better to wait until the next reg.

It makes a difference to residual value for the sake of a couple of weeks and also if you didn't get a private plate it'd look 6 months old pretty sharpish.

So today was the day ..... she's sat outside and I still can't believe it!

First impressions - Presence is everything; ride on air suspension is super smooth; seats are fantastic and of course power on tap I've not done too much with her yet, just brought her home (gently). A 911 4S did try to goad me but I let him off

I'll post some pics and a bit more once I've driven her with more intent. One thing I have to mention is the noise, it's immense! The dealer insisted I turn her over in the handover bay - we all smiled and talked about what a phenomenon it is.

Nice surprise - 30mpg on the way home over mix of roads and traffic

I took her out for more of a drive around some of the local roads today, trying her under harder acceleration - very addictive with that V8 warble However, I won't bore you - you probably want these ....
