Well tis complicated.... 

 

The A360 route I was planning to take (via Devizes then to Melksham) crosses the A303 at the roudabout after Stonehenge which is two from Solstice Park. First roundabout on the A360 after that is where the vistor centre is and there is a no thorough road where could rendezvous? But if you guys want to go the Marlboro/M4 route then OK by me?

It's going to depend on how your getting to Melksham.
If you can cut across to West Ashton, then turn right onto the A350 there is a large lay-by just up the road on the left.

Let me know if that works if not which route are you planning?

 

My plan was to come across from Devizes on the A365 so I join the A350 just south of Melksham . Is there an entry in "Neils Laybays of Wiltshire" near there ?

Ok so if your coming through Devizes what about the Black Horse pub car park, it's just before the canal bridge, easy to find:-
Bath Rd, Devizes, Wiltshire SN10 2AU

There's no dogging goes on there, so there's no chance of bumping into Roy "doGging"

OK - I think I remember going past that last week as its just before the bridge over the canal !!

 

And leaving Stonehenge visitors centre at say 7:20 its 16 miles to the Black Horse. I wont speed through vilages as i have a few points on my licence but happy to push on a bit in between so should be 20 minutes or so to the Black horse so rv at 7:45 ? 

 

This all subject to what time we are meeting others of course !!

I've just suggested on the main thread a meet up at the Wickes car park in Chippenham.
The Black Horse is about 20 mins from there so we can work back for final arrangements.

But not as much ultimate fun or satisfaction I would suspect !!!
