He will have an RS3 8V in soon and he said it's something he is going to look at.

I've been looking at the 8 pot calipers
It'd be a nice oem upgrade if it could be made to work.
Ed seems to think the mounting bracket is the key
Another consideration is wether the brake servo are any bigger on the newer models.
There is a supplier online that sells modified mounting brackets.
It's just an idea I'm throwing out there ........

Well the 8P & 8V both have 370mm x 32mm discs so the calliper is the right size on the 8P disc so only things like disc offset, differences in calliper mounting points, differences in hub between the 2 models and high cost of the 8 pots direct from Audi. Most likely it will end up as expensive as a set of AP 8 pots & discs.
Doubt if the servo will make any difference as the pistons in the 8 pot will be smaller than the ones in our 4 pots anyway.
Don't get me wrong if someone makes up a mod kit I would be interested if the price is right.

And maybe go with the 20" rims which combined with the look of the brakes are for me the best thing about the RSQ3

Shaun, your best buddy Dave Bremtechnik has done B7 RS4/R8 Brembo 8 pot caliper conversions with AP discs and Pagid pads on 8P RS3's IIRC, when you next have a beer ask him as they have the mounting brackets as well. I'm looking at this as an option too if I can, just have to decide on whether to do suspension or brakes first as can't afford both.

So I've asked them if they could adapt one for the 3 to use the 8 pot caliper

Brake shield would need to be removed or modified for the bigger caliper too

Just been speaking to MDM Technik.................
He advises the 'Standard' 370mm Audi discs aren't up to the job if used with 8 pot Brembos............
He used to offer a Loba motorsport and 8 pot caliper upgrade but apparently they stopped because of supply issues......
I can get the Calipers and a mounting bracket...... however it looks more likely the OEM discs would have to go
I have found a TTRS that has done it with standard discs though.........
Another car same 8 pot set up here

So if there are TTRS's and 8P A/S3's running with a 8 pot caliper and OEM discs as pictured above, how does he reckon they don't work?

I think they are not best suited for track work maybe............
The Bracket from BKS is for the fitting of 8 pot Brembos to the RS3 just had an email confirming this and they are £177 + Delivery
I cannot see how the 8P discs couldn't handle the 8 pot.......... the 8V has a similar disc to ours just with the fancy wave effect but still same dia..........
