Thought I'd join up having ordered my Nardo RS3 a while ago.

Long time Audi fan:
A3 1.9TD SE with 5 spoke wheels as I remember. 1998
225 TT /blue leather / alcantara
Had an A4 estate when TT went back to Germany for mods (didn't have the spoiler fitted)
A2 1.4TDI - wicked little car I must say
A3 2.0 TDI
Current S3 bought in 2014. Great car. Best I've had ?

Live in Stevenage but hail from the Midlands

I'll be sad to see the S3 go - brilliant car

Very sad to see my seats with the red leather outers go...

I've gone for the stiching in red / red air vents on the RS3

Although I decided not to drive the car, the 60-70 bhp extra was very noticeable, I really didn't expect it to be that much different from the S3.

Unfortunately I've had 4 corners of new rubber on my S3 today...... Damn ! Thought I'd mange to eeke it out until RS3 !

Feels much better though... Can I cane it now ?

Hi, I'm a newbie as well and I said good bye to my 63 plate s3, went from a glacier white to a Daytona grey RS3 which arrived on the 21st! You will be happy with your decision

I'm just going on the following with Nardo;

1. Gut instinct. The minute I saw it I thought "yessss"

2. Although I love the blue of my S3 I've been disappointed by its durability. Seems to show scratches very easily.

3. In my view... There's something "cool" in having a pocket rocket with a very plain paint finish. Let's face it - almost every car is metallic now (never used to be). So to have a reasonably expensive car that's a plain paint finish is going the opposite of most people. I like that

Still haven't seen a Nardo in the flesh yet.... I think Peterborough have one... Can I be bothered to go up there ? Nope.

I'll add one more thing....

My S3 seems to have a habit of setting off the neighbours car alarm when I leave (usually around 7am).

I can't work out whether its proximity (I'm a good 2-3 feet off her bumper) or the exhaust

Heaven help me when the RS3 arrives....

Welcome and nice colour, is that Estoril or Scuba. Scuba on the A1's was soft but a coat of Gtechniq Crystal Serum has sorted it out plus enhanced gloss and the metallic fleck in it.

There's a nardo grey RS3 sitting out back of hitchin Audi waiting to be picked up on the 1st September. Did you order from there?
Go and have a nosy though. Had a good look round the outside on Monday. Looks great up close

I didn't order from them

I walked in about 2 years ago to buy an A1 (that then became an S3)

They showed no interest what so ever.

Brilliant salesman lost a £40k sale plus future business.

That's a shame. This will be my fifth car from there, but looking around the forum it seems to be a lot of hit and miss with the dealers and who you end up talking to when you get there. Def get up there though and see it. It's got the black pack on it too with the upgraded alloys. Gotta say it looks impressive.
