I'm running 235 all round without issues, although the 225 are cheaper tyres

If they are the ones on the pic above they are MAM A2Titan, 8x18 ET 45. Ran the same size wheel and 235 tyres on all 4 last winter with zero issues

i was told to put 225/40/18 so that's what im gonna run this winter

IIRC I had 235/40/18's on and still no rubbing issues and if anything, a more compliant ride because of the higher profile.
