I suspect that is re-routing due to traffic information. It's not as good as TomTom but knows about the worst stuff.

I did think it was something to do with that dbm, but on a few occasions it has tried to make me come off the motorway, I have ignored it, carried on and I found nothing on the way, totally clear road.
On sunday night coming back from Liverpool it said to come off at a junction and we ended up coming back from Southport
way !!! Starting to think to get the my old TomTom out....

It's not the best system. It uses the RDS broadcasts and you are at the mercy of their accuracy and timeliness...

Sat in a new S3 yesterday and I was impressed by the new tech

What was your impression of the car in general? Did you consider taking a test drive?

No option to test drive as it was in the showroom, plus it was a manual The front end looks well, but not really much to differentiate it from a new A3 S-Line other than the now signature 'S' grille, which I'm still not 100% sure about.

Things I didn't like were the mirrors, just over half were alu (painted plastic of course), the rest black, and the quad exhausts don't really work with the shape of the car I feel.
