Sorry guys there was a thread on this but the server appears to be backing up the forum with outdated copies.
Just bear with us and we'll have it resolved asap

Wow, that sounds good. I was confident that I wouldn't particularly want the next RS3* but that is no longer certain...
* A more comfort balanced car like an S3 was looking more likely for my next motor.
RS3 8V | RS3 8P
I always thought the current car was never properly finished and seemed like a half baked idea. That said, it was always a fantastic machine and perhaps a little misunderstood by the motoring press. For me, simple things like no MMI with the RS3 logo, lack of twin oval exhausts, etc, always peeved me in that lack of attention to detail from an RS car. The whole product always felt prototype, and not cheap at 40k.
This car will be a cracker for sure, with thanks to the first car existing and it's faults to improve on. I love the look of the new car, (except the alloys the press shots car has and the chrome window trim - yuk.) Features such as Torque Vectoring and the new Haldex programming with the MQB chassis will certainly be a significant improvement. My bets still stand that we will be pleasantly surprised by the entry cost. My bets stay with a 41k base price, but who knows?
Already, I know my options. Black styling pack, sports exhaust, quattro stying interior and carbin fibre inlays to name a few essentials. No doubt Ceramic brakes cool bragging rights, but not worth the money on a street car. ....and let's just put squealling brakes thoughts to bed now. This car won't have them!
The only disappointment I have? They really should have considered something else to make it a bit special - widened rear wheel arches. It's an example of where Audi sometimes lack a bit of soul.
Sign me up. I want one.
I wonder what results a Stage 1 remap would yield? New Turbocharger with freer flowing internals and exhaust? 430bhp/600nm? Nice...

I just can't make my mind up about it
or yes I can....a new RS3 should be blowing my mind away, getting my heart rate faster, but this car is simply not doing any of it!!
I am disappointed tbh, still, it could all be different when I see it in flesh.

It hasn't given me that I've gotta have it feeling,if it's gonna be a limited order run then I'll order if not I'm gonna wait until i can test drive one and then decide.

For me It's top of the option list on any future car purchase (excluding classic),when Audi revealed the Q3RS I had that I've gotta have it feeling and then found out it didn't have DRC so it it was a no go for me ,the new RS3 hasn't given me that feeling which is a shame,DRC option sounds good though Ben?
Wouldn't be without that option if u was to spec a car again.
I quite like it but would probably still have to test drive one before ordering. In Matt Nardo or sports Classic Grey with optics and carbon pack, sport diff (if not standard) sports exhaust, magnetic dampers, panoramic roof, super sports seats plus ceramic brakes it would be north of 50k but this car appears to have serious potential to be a keeper so long they have sorted out the reliability gremlins.
Not sure DRC is available, the majority of reports are suggesting magnetic dampers instead rather than with DRC as an option as well. Does need better wheels though so I hope there are options, quite like the RS7 'rotors'. surprising there is press saying they offer wider 8.5J 255 shod front wheels as an option but that may just be lazy journalism.

Available 10th of March to order for deliveries expected July.
Just as we predicted I have to say too
Without doubt this won't be a limited run, It'd be advertised as limited by now for one and secondly it's far too early in the current platform run.
I wonder when we'll see it appear for real at press events then, Must be Jan/Feb time.
