So after shopping I'm my head for a number of months I have reach a decision that I will buy am RS3 in the new year. I will be fussy as I am looking for the best I can get for about 29k buckets and Bose Are essential the rest can be retro fitted.
If anyone is looking to sell let me know.... Can't imagine that's many of you. Anyway I just want to say hello to you all ... This is the very start of my journey and looking forward to posting pics of my perfect RS3 (when I find it). I am prepared to wait .
I would ask for general pointers but you have all answered it many times already in the forum..... I have enjoyed being ok the ttoc but now I'm ready for the rs3oc

Hello Sawda,
First of all welcome to the forum.
when looking for an RS its pretty much the same as any other car,
the buckets are very few and far between but they can be found occasionally.
there have been a few issues brake squeals, and a few "recalls" that should have been done by previous owner ,and one for brake over heating ..( holes drilled in inner wheel liner for more air)
I hope you find one soon as they are a awesome car

Try playing "Pinball Wizard" from The Who "Tommy" at any serious volume (you'll be surprised how loud it goes) and your ears will bleed. It's a truly awesome sound system.
The cars not bad either.
PS Don't try this with a passenger..

I/ the wife had buckets on our / her S3
although they look really nice on any trip over an hour they get really uncomfy and you will get a flat arse and they a pain to get in and out of.
The standard seats are far better for long trips

There are a lot on here (MOST) that have been remapped mostly by (APR) that transforms the car , and makes it almost supercar fast !

Thanks CarrG... I would look a little higher for the right car or wait a couple of months for the additional funds... 9k is virtually brand new! Have been tempted to spend 30k plus but will see how it goes... Going to detail the tt ready for sale so who know I may get some extra funds
Any pics of the TT?
