You could then run secondary cat bypass sports cats or could try the standard secondary cats although VRS warned against this as they might melt.

Yes it does but I would have thought 4' to 2x 2.5' would give better flow rather than 4' to 3' to 2 x 2.5' do you know what the cost of the BCS downpipe is?You could always find a friendly MOT tester mine is being done this week.
Just got an OEM backbox fitted on mine with gutted resonators and with scorpion 2nd cat bypass pipes, absolutely amazing sound, but when in normal mode you don't you feel too much difference sound wise, only when you turn on S it really sings which is perfect for me.

Are you mapped? Do the downpipe too you won't regret it I did it this way for stealth partly cost but mostly to control noise / keep the Mrs happy ... win win all round :-D
Mine doesn't have a map, this is the first mod I've done performance wise, think I will save up for a map or if I'm not entirely there then a downpipe like you mentioned. insurance went up £74 when I told them I got the pipes fitted. At first they said we can't insure you anymore because the fella put it down as a custom exhaust manifold then said that's the closest option he had, after a bit of explaining it came to £74. I will try to make some good drive by/sound clips of mine and post them here.

.... they use just 1 high flow cat, so you still get no worries at mot time.
I would double check this.
It is no longer the case that you can pass emissions because you have sports cat and are within the test parameters.
They also have to check for "A catalytic converter missing where one was fitted as standard" essentially counting the amount of cats present compared to a factory spec car.

Gutted resonators, are they the small silencers behind the back box? Did you cut them open to gut them? Yes go for downpipe without a cat...
Yes, you have these two cylinders that attach to the back box, they have been cut open, cleared then welded up. The backbox can also be opened up and cleared but that level of noise will be on an extreme level.

MTM do a twin oval exhaust with diffuser.
I wondered if the RSQ3 single trims would fit side by side in original position with some fettling.

It's a res cat back milltek with bypass pipes
it's the price they should be new... The profit is mad on exhausts.
Still a good price 👍😃
