I'd hope to save more than just over 5p a day to warrant a change in insurer.

£450 per year i wish mine was near that mine is nearly £900 with admiral, no points, ive never been banned I'm 35yrs old + i am only down as doing 4000 miles per year with me working away and it is SDP + i have got it down as my second car as i have got my EX missus car and she was a named driver on my multi-car policy.

The car has a tracker and is garaged and i live in a decent area of newcastle.

I would love to know how they work this out.

When somebody crashed in to my X missus old car which was a none fault accident when the claim was settled Admiral called me and said due to the fact that i had been in an accident my policy was increasing by £50 because due to the fact i was involved in an accident the statistics said i was more likely to be in another accident, my reply to them was "how the f-ck is that ? the accident was not my fault he admitted full liability at the roadside when it happened, if i had of been in the UK at the time i would of cancelled it and went else were but i was 3000 miles away and was too much hassle at the time to do it.

Fletch, I haven't paid those levels since my teens.

My insurance+ 3 year gap insurance didn't cost that.

I may shop around more come renewal as I have been with the same broker for years, and previous mods/cars made it a pita to change and get them listed correctly.

Roy, shop around first, when you have your best quote, then give them a try.

They beat my renewal, RAC, Direct Line and Tesco.

We have a bhp limit of 100 over stock at the moment. As long as you can comply with the criteria set on the scheme by the various insurers we should be able to help you.

We've set up a dedicated code for this forum's members to quote so we know where the enquiries are coming from. Please quote code 168 or AudiRS3oc.com and we'll make sure you get the full benefit.

best,

Nick
