Back again after a few years with a question that I hope someone can help with.

 

When I had my RS3 8V with the iron 367bhp motor, I ordered a Scorpion decat downpipe SAUP054 with two matching sport cat pipes AU631 and AU632. I never fitted them and until now, they got 'forgotten' behind other things!

 

I should sell them, but I want to be careful here as Scorpion info is that these pipes are for the 8V. But I remember the last 8Vs came out with the 400bhp aluminium motor, yes? In which case I need to be precise how I advertise them.

 

My question is - does anyone know if this main decat set-up fits the 400bhp motor? Were the turbos the same on both?

Nope that decat will only be for the PFL 8V. The DAZA/DNWA blocks use a different turbo the CZGB engines.
