I’m having issues with my radio as it seems to have lost its ability to scan and tune on any of the wavelengths and all my stored stations have gone. I’ve tried manual tuning to a local frequency but get nothing.

What is weird is that if I go to a local major town I can suddenly get the local travel reports as clear as a bell.

Any thoughts on what might have gone wrong and how to fix it please.

Just as a way of an update in case other’s experience the same thing - the antenna booster in the tailgate had failed.
