Having run a remap by another tuner for some years I got the itch to do something more, having known Ben@TTU for a few years he suggested going down the WMI route & upgrade the turbo actuator as I wanted more out off my existing hardware.

Ben installed the Aquamist WMI,Forge actuator then custom remapped the engine & DSG software to suit.

Picked up the RS 3 weeks ago before doing a full on trackday @ Bedford autodrome without any issues baring running out of water methanol by lunchtime then running on low boost map for the rest of the day which didn't put a damper on the day one bit.

So a big thanks to Ben for all his advice, tailoring the the install to my requirements & outcome.

The graph below shows the power with WMI & without.

Hey Dell,

How are you finding this set up?
Asking as if I remember you were previously running the same set up as myself with similar power.

Hiya.

Yes I am still running all the similar hardware as yourself baring changing the stock actuator to a Forge one, WMI & the remap to suit.

Smoother off the bottom end with a bit more top end very subtle tbh.

Dell,

WMI for extra horsepower or for cooling?
Asking as I'm sure you were around 455bhp previously.

I was running 443ps on MRCs rollers which is 438bhp.

When I last rollered it at Surrey Rolling Road some years back with the MRC set up it showed 432bhp,with this set up it showed 455bhp.

Yes I've used WMI for cooling & extra ignition timing for more bhp.
