At what point do you need performance valves?

I know the valve springs are a weak point at high rpm and can be swapped for titanium versions, but would you also need to swap the oem valves. I have no intention of ever going over 650/700hp and 7500rpm.

Stu.

With your performance car back ground I thought your already know the answers.

In a nut shell better quality & reliability mate.

I think on previous cars I’ve had their base performance wasn’t as high so I thought the RS3 valves may be better. In the end I decided if the valve springs are being done I may as well do the whole top end. It was a fit of madness thinking I’d save some money.

I’ll post some pictures on my build thread when it’s done.
