I’ve got my MOT coming up soon and have the Airbag light on that I need to sort without getting fleeced by Audi.

Is anyone relatively local and tell me what the issues are please ? Am happy to provide some form of monetary or other ‘thanks’ as a result.

An easy thing you can do yourself is to check under the seats to make sure the connectors are fully clipped together or look for any chafed wires.

I’ve already repaired the wires between the body and driver’s door so under the seat was my next point of interest ... with the battery disconnected ‘just in case’.

I was simply just trying to see where the actual issue is rather than guessing again. Anyway .... a job for tomorrow!

Spent the afternoon under the seats. Boy are some of the wires tight between the fixing on the floor (collecting all wires from the seat) to the connectors in the floor pan. I can’t see anything obviously wrong but have put a few cable ties on to stop any movement in the connections. Am now just hoping that it’s a simple code reset that will clear the light ... (from the door loom repair)
