Hi all , hope everyone is well.

On my 2011 8P

Just noticed that the front drivers side is sitting about 20mm lower than passenger side. My immediate thoughts are a suspension problem , either the coil spring or shocker ?

I have not had chance to jack up for a look yet but there are no horrible klonking sounds and the steering and ride seems ok. I have pre-empted incase it is a cracked spring however looking at oemepc.com the parts list shows 2 different coil springs (different colour spots and part numbers). Am I missing something here? why are there 2 and what is the difference please--(surely not left and right side as they would be the same?)

Sorry to say you probably have a broken spring 😕 Depending on your year they may have changed from one spring to another, TPS or a main dealer will be able to tell you which one or if you can see the colour marks on the spring go from there.

Remember you need to change them as a pair not just the side that's broken.

You could always consider replacing them with a set of Eibechs with a 20mm drop as a cost effective option.

Thanks Dell,

I`ll go for standard springs , if and when I can jack up to confirm,

Will report back!
