Hi Guys,

I have a 2018 RS3 Sportback

Can someone please tell me what parts are required for a stage 3 tune?

I'm assuming :-

bigger turbo,

fuel injectors,

bigger intercooler, (Wagner already fitted)

decat downpipe, (Scorpion already fitted, rear half of exhaust still OEM)

high pressure fuel pump

K&N air filter (already fitted)

different spark plugs?

What's the expected power and torque figures?

Anyone know what the maximum power/torque the engine and drivetrain can safely withstand?

Don't intend launching the car from a standing start  :)

Thanks in advance for your help

Thanks

Ben is your guy to talk to about that! Most people I know that go stage 3 have either WMI fitted or forged engines, although with pfl I think they forged some of the engine anyway.

You're pretty much bang on though

I would just be a little nervous about how much power I wanted to push through an all alloy block with delicate little con rods...

As with all things in life you are fine right up to the point where you are not and one of those rods comes flying right through the block.

You do not need to replace the hpfp

You need bigger injectors, ngk r7437-9 and the forge/unitronic/eventuri inlet with the correct inlet adaptor for your hybrid turbo of choice

Power figures all depend on the turbo of your choice but keep the torque to around 700-750nm to protect the rods
